The South Bend Chapter supported the Central Area HBCUs Initiative by making a monetary donation to their cause. Monies collected will assist HBCU students across the Centra Area.

Something new...The South Bend Chapter will start sharing Chapter newsletters, present, past and future ones. They will show activities and other news from the Chapter.

Aimee Yarde Matthews


Aimee Yarde was the South Bend Chapter's 1st scholarship recipient in 2011. She graduated from Indiana University South Bend. She stated, "As a former Links scholarship recipient, I am very grateful for my exposure to this organization whose priority is to encourage and alleviate the financial burden of attending university on minority women." She went on to received her Advanced Degree in Dentistry and is currently working as a Mobile General Dentist in the Metro Detroit school systems where she provide dental care for students during the school day which eliminates them missing school for dental emergencies.
